What you see above you is an images of what I called it "Half-festive, Half-educational" project. You may see it as a normal black box with golden lines and calculus content wrote on the front side, but these are not. Actually, it was an assignment from the teacher to make us applying the knowledge of "Optimization" from classroom into real-time work. The teacher had gave us the size in a worksheet in which we had to calculate the cut and form the box as accorded in the worksheet. Our group decided to decorate it in a way to honor this subject's reputation by writing the recognizable things like Derivatives, Integration and so on the front side. And also, since the time this box was meant to be due is in December, the teacher gave another purpose for it; to be used in a gift exchange. I thought that "Why not? We already made the box and it's near the winter break. We won't be seeing each other until next semester. So, again, Why not?" We bought gifts and stuffed them inside the box. But later, no one really likes our gifts so we shared with others (teachers). So there is how I called this "Calculus-honored" project as Half-festive, Half-educational project in the first place.
It's been a rough weeks since the beginning of this class. No wonder why full concentration is required for this such subjects. |
